Add A Voice are keen to recruit new members onto their management committee and are looking for anyone with some spare time and enthusiasm to get in touch. Committee members are an essential part of the organisation and are responsible for making sure that Add A Voice is steered in the right direction. Members are required to attend a monthly meeting and are provided with out of pocket expenses. Members need to be aged over 18.
Funded by the Community Fund, Add A Voice offers support to anyone over the age of 18 who feels they need someone to speak up for them or help them speak up for themselves. Examples of cases undertaken by advocates include:- assisting a person attend meetings or write letters, supporting a person to find suitable accommodation, helping clients access information about budgeting their finances.
